Why a Key West Boat? These boats, to start, are unsinkable! There is a layer of foam wrapped around the inside which keeps that boat from fully submerging itself into the water and it will fill with no more, no less, than 2 inches of water. "But the batteries will get wet!" The batteries are up on a platform which keeps them above any sort of potential water damage, thus all your electronics will run and you'll easily still be able to keep in contact if that boat gets a breach. There is also an engine pod in the back which gives the interior a lot more room, keeps the engines back/lower giving the boat a little more push, and the boat moves to its fullest abilities! The deep 'V' in the front also allows water to go up and stay out rather than a more 'squared' front which would create more water coming into the boat. The previous owners took great care of this boat and really enjoyed crusing along the back bays, fishing, and just enjoying family time in the water. The boat also has a Yamaha F150XB on the back with low hours, and this boat does not include a trailer. Call us for any additional questions, comments, or concerns! |
